I am a molecular biologist with a background in virology, specializing in herpesviruses and coronaviruses. In 2022, I defended my PhD in virology at Jagiellonian University. Since then, my research interests have shifted toward structural biology. Joining the Dioscuri Center helped me develop my skills in working with light-sensitive and membrane proteins, such as LOV domains and rhodopsins. I also had the opportunity to complete a very interesting internship at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, where I learned cutting-edge techniques in insect cell protein expression.
