I am a structural biologist with a doctoral degree in natural sciences and an international research background spanning leading institutes in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Poland. My expertise covers X-ray crystallography, biophysics, protein engineering, and structure-function analysis, supported by extensive experience in synchrotron data collection and advanced biophysical methods. Throughout my academic career and later in industry, I have led and executed complex structural biology projects, combining experimental precision with interdisciplinary collaboration. My work has consistently focused on integrating structural insights into broader scientific and therapeutic research goals. In my current position, I am transitioning from traditional cryogenic crystallography to the rapidly evolving field of serial crystallography, where I focus on data acquisition and the exciting new opportunities offered by room-temperature structural studies.
